Annex I – Positioning and Technical Details of Lights and Shapes

Annex I provides the technical specifications for lights: vertical positioning, horizontal positioning, arc of visibility, intensity calculations, colour specifications, and screen requirements. Shapes shall be black; a ball shall have a diameter of not less than 0.6 m; a cone shall have a base diameter of not less than 0.6 m and a height equal to its diameter; a cylinder shall have a diameter of at least 0.6 m and a height of twice its diameter; a diamond shall consist of two cones having a common base.
